About Under Banyan

Under Banyan is a small, independent app studio. We build calm, focused tools that help people learn and remember — software that respects your attention instead of competing for it.

What we make

Our first app is Oboeru (覚える, "to memorize") — a Japanese vocabulary-learning app built around smart flashcards and adaptive ambient listening. The idea is simple: steady progress, a little at a time, shaped around how memory really works.

How we work
